Subscribing District Requests
One of the services provided by TxSP to our subscribing districts is the ability to request protocols or documents that our site does not contain but would benefit your district. You submit the request, TxSP does the research and posts for all Districts to access.
Here are four new posts that could benefit your district as well:
- Teacher growth plans aligned with the four dimensions in TTESS: Instruction, Learning Environment, Planning, and Professional Practice and Responsibility.
- Talking points with parents added to our Pro.Requesting a 504 or Sped Evaluation.
- A document that allows parents/legal guardians to consent to electronic transfer of student records and using text messages to communicate. Doc.Authorization to Send Information Electronically
- Updated Doc.Student Graduation Transcript Review to include students who have met District Speech requirements and who have participated in the Police Interaction and CPR Instruction.
Title IX Training at Texas School for the Deaf
We enjoyed meeting and working with the TSD superintendent, attorney, and various staff members in preparing for Title IX investigations. Besides meeting some truly dedicated educators, we enjoyed touring the wonderful facilities and visiting the Museum. What an interesting history. Thank you TSD for a wonderful day of learning together!
Building a High School Counseling Annual Calendar
TxSP has been working monthly with all counselors from East Central ISD this year to tweak their District Professional School Counseling Program and ensure it is aligned with HB18, SB179, and Texas Education Code Chapter 33. This was a breakout session with high school counselors to develop a comprehensive tool that, when completed, will be shared with all counselors, district leadership team, and campus staff so everyone is aware of the many activities high school counselors must perform monthly to ensure all students graduate on time.
Meet Michelle Capener, Project Manager
Michelle joined the TxSP Team in September 2021. She brings great expertise to our company and has developed new services and products. She previously served in a large District that has used TxSP for 8+ years and brings the experience of a participant/leader as a subscribing partner. Please make use of her services.
